3 bedroom 2.5 bath ranch located in a quit neighborhood. A larger ranch with a large living room for unwinding with family after a fun day at the beach. 2.5 bathrooms, towels and wash clothes are provided Washer and dryer located in one of the bathrooms, we'll provide a few washing machine pods. Full kitchen with full size refrigerator and dishwasher, we provide a few dishwasher tabs. Electric skillet, crock pot, blender, microwave and toaster oven. A gas and charcoal grill are also provided. Plenty of plates, silverware, wine glasses and pots and pans. Dining area has seating for 8. (2 chairs located in a bedroom closet). All three bedrooms have queen size memory foam mattress, dresser and smart tv for streaming. There are also two air mattresses with an electric pump for your use. We provide all linens and pillows for the beds however do not provide linens or pillows for air mattresses. Living room is large and has a 52" screen smart tv. Seating for 8 on the couch, plenty of room for your family to hang out together. A 6 person golf cart is available to rent. Please reach out to us for details. We have a lighted outdoor firepit for unwinding at the end of the night. There are small pieces of wood available to burn. Using your best judgment is a must with this as we're close to the ocean and the wind can pick up making it unsafe to use at times. We provide many beach goodies! Boogie boards, beach cart, chairs, umbrella, and even some toys for the kids. IF you stay with us you'll only need to bring your clothes, toiletries and beach towels as we have pretty much everything covered for you to enjoy your stay. We look forward to hosting you!

*We require the guest booking the home be at least 25 years old. *For stays 28 days or more we require a mid stay cleaning fee. There will be an additional cleaning fee of $150 that will be paid separately. Linens will be changed out if the guest would like. *There are no refunds for the golf cart. Pricing will be per night booked ex. you can't pay for 3 nights for the golf cart on a 5 night stay at the house. In this situation 5 nights would have to be booked for the golf cart. *For those who choose to use the golf cart: By booking our home, you are agreeing to the terms of the golf cart liability waiver.* GOLF CART LIABILITY WAIVER (“Waiver”) To: [59th st, Beach,Sleep,Repeat, David and Melissa Gauger, (each referred to individually as “Owner” and “Releasee” and collectively as “Owners” and “Releasees”) In connection with my vacation rental of 59th st Beach,Sleep,Repeat 201 NE 59th st Oak Island, NC (“Vacation Home), I wish to use the golf cart at the Vacation Home (“Golf Cart”) during the length of stay at the Vacation Home. In exchange for the privilege of using the Golf Cart, I accept all risk, responsibility, and liability based on my use of the Golf Cart including any and all responsibility and liability for my own negligence. I will operate the Golf Cart in a safe manner and adhere to all ordinances, rules, and restrictions set forth by the Town of Oak Island, NC, abide by all laws of the State of North Carolina, and abide by all NC Department of Transportation regulations for the Golf Cart. I accept liability for all medical claims, all claims for property damages, and any other legal claims that may arise from my use of the Golf Cart. I voluntarily agree to accept the risks of using the Golf Cart and on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs hereby voluntarily release the Owners, and their officers, employees, and agents (Releases) from any and all claims, actions, causes of actions, suits, judgments and demands for bodily injury, property damage, loss of life and/or loss of services, in law or equity, that may in any way or manner arise out of my use of the Golf Cart. I am at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license which would permit me to operate the Golf Cart. I will not allow anyone else to drive the Golf Cart unless such individual has separately signed a waiver with the Owners having the same terms as this Waiver. I acknowledge that the Golf Cart must remain on the island at all times and may not be driven on any sidewalk. I agree to keep the Golf Cart in designated areas not exceeding 35 mph at all times. I will utilize Yacht Drive, Pelican Drive, and/or Dolphin Drive as my main thoroughfares. I will only use Oak Island Drive and Beach Drive as cross streets. I will not allow more than 6 people (including me) on the Golf Cart. I will ensure that all passengers remain seated and wear seat belts while the Golf Cart is moving. I will not allow any children to ride in my lap or any other passenger’s lap while the Golf Cart is moving. I WILL COMPLY WITH ALL CHILD SEAT SAFETY LAWS OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA. If I am observed abusing the Golf Cart rules, regulations, or applicable laws, I will forfeit all rental privileges immediately. This includes, for example and without limitation, reckless driving, speeding, driving the Golf Cart while impaired, or allowing underage guests to operate the Golf Cart. I agree to pay for any damage to the Golf Cart and authorize Owners to charge my credit card for any such damages. I represent that I have automobile liability insurance that covers my use of the golf cart. I further agree to pay for any costs incurred by Owner to collect for damages. I understand that it is strictly forbidden for a minor or any individual without a valid driver’s license to operate this Golf Cart. I will not allow a minor to have a hand or hands on the steering wheel when the Golf Cart is moving. When I am not using the Golf Cart, I will maintain possession of the Golf Cart keys or insure that they are stored in a location where an unauthorized user might obtain access to the keys. I understand and acknowledge that golf carts are motorized vehicles and driving or riding in these vehicles can lead to serious injury, property damage and even death. I understand that no excessive speed or any type of unreasonable activity with the Golf Cart is permitted. I acknowledge receipt of the Golf Cart, confirm that it is working condition, and is not damaged except for the following: ______________________________. In exchange for the Owners allowing me to utilize the Golf Cart during my stay, I hereby agree to the conditions contained herein. I fully intend and choose to give up the legal rights, as stated below: 1. TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or may have in the future against the Owners, their directors, officers, employees, agents, or representatives (hereinafter referred to as the “Releasees”) relating to my use of the Golf Cart; 2. TO RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, expense, or other cost that I may suffer or that my heirs may suffer in connection with my use of the Golf Cart to any cause whatsoever, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE RELEASEES; 3. TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASEES from any and all liability to property, or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from the use of the Golf Cart; 4. That this Waiver is fully effective and shall be effective and binding upon me, and my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns, or anyone else authorized to act on my behalf or on behalf of my estate. This Release shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ, UNDERSTAND AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO THE TERMS ABOVE. GOLF CART RULES: 1. Only licensed drivers are allowed to drive the golf cart. Not following this rule will revoke your use of the cart with no refund. 2. All local/federal traffic laws are in place while driving the golf cart. Driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs will be prosecuted by authorities. 3. Seat belts must be worn at all times. Children are not allowed to be held by a parent. They'll need to be in a car seat. The police look for this and will pull you over if they see it. 4. The golf cart can't be driven on roads with posted speed limits above 35 mph. You are allowed to cross over roads posted above 35 mph. 5. The golf cart is electric. Please avoid puddles as it can short out the cart. Blatant misuse will result in a claim put in on your credit card to cover repairs. 6. The golf cart is not allowed on the beach. It's against the law and It will get stuck! 7. Only park in designated parking spots. Any spot with a yellow bumper while near the beach. All parking lots away from the beach park as you would a car. 8. You don't have to pay to park the golf cart. It's registered under our name and residents park for free! 9. If you get a ticket for anything please pay it at the town hall BEFORE you leave. Leaving it unpaid will only incur more fees that we will pay with YOUR credit card that's on file. 10. If there is a chance of rain please use your best judgement and cover the golf cart. Being close to the ocean the air gets damp at night. Covering it every night will prevent wet seats when you go to use it the following day. 11. The golf cart will get about 15-20 miles on a charge. Please allow yourself enough battery to get it back to the house. Keep an eye on the battery life gauge on the dash (it's the gauge that uses battery % not the red blinking light) Keeping the gas pedal pinned will decrease the amount of miles you get out of the battery.
